The third weekend of March

When I first uploaded this photo of our breakfast last Saturday, my immediate thought was, "Brighten... highlight... sharpen."

But I stopped myself. The weekend was lovely the way it was. Short but meaningful. Naturally, I would have loved to spend more time with my family but every moment was treasured, instead of nitpicking the nitty-gritties. Life isn't picture-perfect all the time and this photo reminds me of how we should take stock of our blessings.
