Growing up, I never wanted kids. I wasn't interested in kids. I never carried a newborn till I had my firstborn - and trust me, KW did most of the carrying then. But these days, I would rather be with my boys than anyone else.

Ooo, what would you do differently at your wedding?

Thoroughly reminded me of what's important during busy, frustrating days...

"When you’re tired, go slowly. Go quietly. Go timidly. But do not stop. You are tired for all the right reasons. You are tired because you’re supposed to be. You’re tired because you’re making a change."

"It usually comes down to communication, acceptance, respect and realistic expectations."

Planning a sabbatical in Paris? This might just get you started.

I came to know of El Celler de Can Roca from Masterchef Professionals. The restaurant was founded by the Roca brothers – the eldest Joan Roca the head chef, Josep Roca the sommelier, and youngest brother Jordi Roca the dessert chef. Their chemistry is amazing and their mother's little diner is just down the road. So cute.

As a result of Monday's momentous event, there are naturally many things worth reading and catching up on.

"Had Singapore chosen the road of its critics, it might well have collapsed among its ethnic groups, as the example of Syria teaches today." Henry A. Kissinger's eulogy to Lee Kuan Yew

"Freedom is knowing our children can go to school without fear of drugs, or being mowed down by some insane person with a gun. Freedom is knowing that we are not bound by our class, our race, our religion, and we can excel for the individuals that we are - the freedom to accomplish." Calvin Cheng rebuts critics on Singapore trading freedom for economic success.

I love reading about him as an elder brother. By Monica Lee, Mr Lee Kuan Yew's only sister and Lee Suan Yew, Mr Lee Kuan Yew's youngest brother.

A reporter’s notes on Mr Lee by Bertha Henson.

I first noticed anemones while watching E! Fashion Police (I wish could say I make better TV choices but I can't) and I couldn't help but notice the ironic beauty of these flowers. Don't they look like a bunch of eyeballs staring deep into your soul?

Beautiful yet creepy.
