T Anthony's Pizzeria, Boston

After we dropped off my things, Edward and I walked over to T Anthony's Pizzeria for a quick bite. Extremely popular with Boston University students (Edward can definitely attest to that), this pizzeria had a colleg-ey feel, with framed photographs of sports teams, smiling faces in team attire crowding its walls. All I could think of was if this were a scene in Harry Potter and those photographs came alive, we would be caught in the middle of some nasty ice hockey battle.

I don't wanna die... I'm only twenty- [censor]

T Anthony's serves more than just just pizzas- they have sandwiches, salads and pies, and even your regular breakfast items such as pancakes and waffles. But we were here for one thing and not even the scrumptious pies could sway our intention- although a very friendly policeman offered nothing but praises for their pies. The service is as fuss-free as its decor, well basically it's self-service: you walk up to the counter, place your order and wait for them to call out your order.

Besides those ready-made plain cheese slices, you can choose to create your own and we had ours topped with mushrooms, peppers and pepperoni. Edward and I polished off a 'small pizza', which was by no means small unless you were eating for three.

T Anthony's pizza was breadier and more chewy than other pizzas I had but it was still delicious. I loved how the edges puffed up as if trying to rein in the oozy cheese and generous toppings. This had to my fourth (or fifth?) encounter with the pizza but it still felt like we were meeting for the first time.

Doesn't Edward look like he just stepped out of That 70s Show? Haha...

Best of all, it was also one of the few places which opened till late. After catching the Blue Man Group the next day, we caved into late-night pizza pangs at T Anthony's.
