for nostalgic purposes, kiku and i went to copenhagen business school for lunch today. we decided to have their sandwiches- smoked salmon and egg & bacon because they were the most symbolic of student food here.. kiku even considers herself a regular..
apart from the different fillings, the silhouette of both sandwiches are identical. a foccacia bun opens up like an hungry clam, stuffed with loads of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and alfalfa sprouts. the smokey bang of the salmon was further prodded into delice by a dash of blasimic vinegar while the mayo egg & bacon was a match made in cholestric-heaven.
a done sandwich is massive. think you could take an entire mouthful of it without the discomposure of the forty-year-old virgin? think again. and again.. haha.. tastewise, the sandwich was undeniably good but you should label this under "top ten foods to avoid on a first date"- just under the arroz negro.
my bags are packed and i am ready to go..
well not really. but at the supermarket, a guy was unpacking lays potato chips and we maxed out our innocent asian-girl charms and scored a couple of free boxes.. hurray-hurrah. i filled my box up with winter clothing in less than five minutes and i am hoping it will not exceed ten kg. it is pretty expensive to ship parcels back tO singapore and PLESSSE I REALLY WANT THOSE FLATS FROM ZARA.
crosses fingers.
it is getting really warm here in copenhagen. i been drowning myself un bucketloads of flavoured water- strawberry and kiwi, thankyou.. but i haven't been taking my brolley out because it is black and i realise it looks utterly morbid against the leafy summery backgrounds of copenhagen.. like i am attending a mob funeral or something..
less than a week left.
