i should return to food blogging. been disloyal for too long.
stina's copenhagen concluding meal took place at cafe kopka. i found it slightly bemusing because i think the waitress was hoping for a quiet monday morning but at around quarter to ten, eight of us marched it demanding FOOD.
a couple of us sussed out the yoguet brunch set whilst some favoured the heartier egg and bacon version. lukas and christine opted for a simple toasted bagel and i fished out the salomon sandwich. as if we were not bothersome enough, we chose to dine al fresco at the square just opposite the cafe ACROSS the road. thus our dear waitress had to risk her life, cross the busy morning traffic more than a couple of times to deliver our utterly frivoloous brunch.
seeing is believing
my salmon sandwich -i cannot get enough of fish- was amazing minus the alfalfa sprouts.. though i did turn a blid eye to the copious amounts of cream cheese slathered over each toasted foccacia. nasty but good stuff.
after that, elena, kiku and i accompanied stina to the train station. elena got all honey-please-don't-leave while i stood by like a wooden russian doll. i just don't get it. why is it so hard for me to feel something other than indifference?
