Sapporo Satoland and Moerenuma Park are both well-sought-out places in Hokkaido, and it's a good idea to visit them together. The highlight of Sapporo Satoland was surely these funny bikes that you could rent to travel about the park. My love for one of these four-wheelers was lost on KW. It is highly recommended to rent one as it not only allows you to venture about without tiring yourself out, but it's also pretty darn fun. We had lunch at one of the restaurants there, a simple eatery with Japanese staples.
We barely covered a fraction of Moerenuma Park, but just being there makes you appreciate the vastness of the Hokkaido's scenery. I really wish we had one of those funny bikes with us as the park is HUGE. It's also really peaceful - if you are looking to escape the bustle of Sapporo, this is the perfect spot for you. You could even try your hand at scaling one of the hills which was what KW and Russell did!
After both parks, we made a pit-stop at Machimura Farm for soft-serves.
