Chinese New Year 2017 (Part 1)

Chinese New Year is without a doubt one of my my favourite occasions of the year. I come from a very big family (last count, we have more than 70 people spread across 4 generations), hence the social chaos when we get together is qutie mind-blowing, especially for people who joined the family via marriage.

Yeap, as usual, we went trigger-happy on Day 1. We had to take more than 20 shots for this pictures to happen. Bribes materialised in the form of pineapple tarts. The boys are growing up so fast. Our mothers and nosy-parker aunties were right! The days are long but the years are short.

Love the simple but striking decor at my parents place

Reunion dinner at my parents' place *heart*

Bought cookies from Baker Brew Studio -

Homemade cookies from my auntie is always such a joy to receive
