Melbourne: What I am thankful for (and not)

Our conveniently-located 2-bedroom apartment on Oaks on Market that provided us with plenty of space - both physically and mentally

Glorious open gardens and parks for the kids to roam around

Thankful for quiet moments - and for the Fullerton mooncake I brought along too

Oh-so-cute farm animals at Collingwood Childrens' Market

Moments which made me marvel at how well-behaved and resilient our kids were (red eye flight, 10-hr Great Ocean Road drives) - hey, we had our fair of meltdowns too

Watching the dynamic duo - Russell and Lucas - spend time together and eating up a storm

Great hospitality from Melbournites and marvellous meals - we hardly had a bad meal, even a lobster burger from the middle of nowhere was awesome

Being able to discover quirky neighbourhoods when the rain held back

What made me go ugh: The cold - isn't it spring, daminit ... The rain - isn't it spring, damnit  ... The Puddles and wet shoes that came with the cold and rain - isn't it spring, damnit ...

Thanks for the lovely review of Oaks on Market. Two Bedroom Apartments are the best when travelling with kids, I speak from experience - Kira, Oaks Hotels & Resorts.
