Spizza delivery

Usually Saturday dinners are spent at the club as it is ridiculously convenient and fuss-free for us. Free and ample parking, air-conditioned and comfortable setting, reasonably priced variety and friendly service - seriously, as a mother of two tiny tikes, I could hardly ask for more. However one Saturday evening, we decided to do something different and not waiting to go near the weekend diners crowd, we decided to order in Spizza pizza delivery.

The Tavolata combo netted us three pizzas, half a dozen chicken wings, either a garlic or fresh bread and four beverages. Although the garlic bread was forgotten (too much carbs) and the drinks weren't essential, there was still a slight discount.

Rebecca - White pizza with Mozzarella, Gorgonzola, cooked Ham and Rucola, Sun-dried Tomatoes (my favourite though my mum found the gorgonzola off-putting)

Quinta - Tomato, Mozzarella, Egg and Black Truffle paste (my second favourite as you can rarely go wrong with truffles)

Olivia - Tomato, Mozzarella, Salami, Fresh chili

The wings were an unexpected winner. Still warm upon arrival, the skin was delectably crispy and the meat itself was flavourful with little need for the honey sauce they provided on the side.

You can't compare it to the fresh-out-of-the-oven variety but for delivery pizza, but this was pretty good. Of course, the kicker was the fun element of ordering pizza delivery. We sound absolutely deprived, don't we?
