Boon Tong Kee + Seletar Shen Mian

Though I hardly adhere to confinement rules, we were pretty much chained to the house over the weekend as the little one was undergoing phototherapy treatment at home.

My sister and brother-in-law dapao-ed both the dry and soup ban main from Seletar Shen Mian over to our place one Saturday, and we supplemented with some steamed chicken, chicken gizzards and char siew from Boon Tong Kee.

I liked the soup version of the Ban Mian sans soup, and with some chill padi thrown in for a good kick.

A special shout-out for the thick-cut honey BBQ char siew from Boon Tong Kee. Moreish maximus.
