Wedding Bites (F-J)

Blogger’s note: We are off on our honeymoon. In the meantime, here is an A-Z rundown of our wedding preparations to keep you occupied in the meantime. Pictures by Ivan Tan.

F - Foooood: I should will get a separate post done for what we ate as well but here's a quick one: Breakfast pastries were from Crystal Jade Bakery; lunch catering was done by Guan Hoe Soon and Peach Garden; and Dillon prepared a feast for our after-solemnization dinner party. At our solemization ceremony, we laid out our favourite Jagabee to nibble on during cocktail; and gave away sweet and savoury tau sar piahs from Yang Hua Cake Shop (our favourite in town) as wedding favours. At Shangri La, our fried carrot cake served during the cocktail session and 10-course dinner received awesome reviews!

G – Groomsmen: Kwanjee, Vernon, Zhongwei, Chris, Dave and Muthu, you guys were such good sport and I’m sure it made kw’s day to have you guys by his side.

H – Honeymoon: New York City! We thought about Barcelona (too dangerous in view of the economic situation) and Budapest/Vienna (there are only that many cathedrals I can take). New York City is one place we have been to before but not together … I was just looking for an excuse to head back.

I – In-laws: Super grateful to have kw’s parents as my in-laws =)

J - Jewellery: Mmm, arm candy from my mum and mother-in-law. To have and hold, then pass down to my kids in the future, assuming they behave themselves and buy me Tip Top curry puffs every week.
