i had to go to kilen to hand in a report. i could not help but whip out my camera because kilen (being the newest addition to cbs school buildings) is amazingly designed. the first time i stepped in, i though i was transported to a high-budget sci-fi film set. loads of metal, wires, white lights.. hooray to those who love the somewhat zen totally futuristic look but retch-worthy others who love old buildings.

see the column tube on the left? they are the elevators.. very much like what a 22nd century willy wonka would design for his chocolate river huh?

anyway it a good place to people watch.. haha.. i decided to hang out after submitting my report.. good thing i visited the library before and thus had a good supply of literature.. throw in some much-needed confectionary (walnut cake in this instance) for company.. voila- entertainment!

last night, i was looking at volunteer programmes over the internet and was shocked by how much volunteers have to pay to be part of the programme (given they are not even paid in the first place).

then, i found THIS ARTICLE which briefly states where the money is going to.. but really. is this normal or justified?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOON!
