from work on wednesday.

make a guess.. try to identify what's sitting on top the the sushi rice.. nope, not grilled salmon.. not tofu.. give up? FOIE GRAS. yup yup, this is one of the more eccentric but quite popular item on the menu.. and this *cough* cost 55 kr PER ickle piece.. and i had it as snack.. fancy that!

though the foie gras smelt heavenly on the frying pan, i was not exactly turned on by the taste.. nor too-soft texture.. sure it was luxurious.. but it was not worth risking a heart attack for.. upon contact with my tongue, the pillowy texture melted away, exuding a oily mess in my mouth.. urgh. for the oil content, i would rather have a good ol' american cheeseburger and fries..

but the soft shell crab maki was gooodgooodgoood..
