How was your weekend, lovelies?
Mine was a roller coaster of sorts (ah, family drama) but ultimately a smooth landing after the turbulence.
Five things to be grateful for:
1. Disturbingly good char siew soh from Imperial Treasure. Imagine close-to-caramelised pastry crust and juicy inner beauty.
2. Congee. Comfort on a rainy weekend? Check.
3. Chocolate truffle cake at Toast. So glad I can still find the original repertoire of Marmalade Pantry cakes at Toast.
4. Chee cheong fun. Even better when someone else braves the queue for it.
5. Indian feasting that agrees with my tummy.
