Touristy Bites in San Fran

I like fried food - almost too much. But this box of calamari and shrimp from Fisherman's Wharf got mundane after the 12th bite.



I’ve never warmed to clam chowder despite clear winning qualities i.e. carb-lovers idea of the perfect crockery, the bread bowl. I can’t say if Boudin’s clam chowder is The Chowder to Rule Them All but it was slightly more watered down than what I’ve had, which could be a good or bad thing depending on your tolerance for creaminess. For me, this went down easily, thank you bread bowl!
