as you can see, not being desk-laptop-bound creates a lack of updates.
this afternoon, my mum called to ask if i wanted to attend my alma mater's teachers' day dinner. stuck in a ballroom full of teachers i barely recognise and sit through long doubly-translated speeches that would put melatonin manufacturers out of business? hell ya why not?
and no it's not because i am some chalice-drawing sadist but rather, the first thing that came to my mind was my green silk evening dress that i had only worn once. ONCE?! so before i grew out of it (sigh), i told myself to grab any appropiate opportunity to don it again.
argh.
this blog needs a new theme. maybe, it should revolve around 'sights and sounds along gardenia road after midnight'.. but then again, according to the lunar calender, this happens to be the seventh month i.e. hungry ghosts festival and since i have absolutely no desire to publish a "chen-yixiao-sees-dead-people" bestseller anytime soon, chances of me venturing out when darkness falls is as high as me volunteering to organise a beach-tan-youself-silly holiday in koh samui.
end of topic.
