i never thought i would actually live to experience spring in copenhagen but today it was twenty f-r-i-g-g-i-n degrees!! leap of relief mix euphoria.. it felt like the town suddenly came alive.. cafes brought out tables under the glorious sun.. dining al fresco seemed like the.only acticity that anyone should commit themselves to all afternoon.. a double sccop ice cream or popsicle became must-have accessory of the season.

back at the residence hall, crazier things happened. steve heaved his bed into the coutrtyard, allowing others to pounce and sunbath on it. a few chose to venture on higher grounds- the roof to be more specific. there's eric with his newly-purchsed super-soaker perched on top of the building..

oh yes, since spring has arrived, you might as well deck out in your spiffiest outfit even if its just school you are heading to, allan!

no three phrases best describes what i feel towards the moveable feast. 'just add hot water,' 'pop into microwave' and finally, 'all you can eat'. which is basically what i did this afternoon. birget, kiku, elena and i visited restaurant samos as they were well-known for their inexpensive greek buffet. though the buffet was not exactly the most authentic of greek food (hmm lasagne?).. i got my money's worth by loading up on the M-E-A-T.

good thing we arrived slightly before one as the space-challenged restaurant was packed at around ten past one.. it was along the same alley where we came across other 'all you can eat' buffets at rather reasonable prices (by copenhagen standards at least).... mmmmmmmm... i need to find more feasting folks...
