during one of our introduction seminars, the speaker didn't fail to mention how copenhagen has one of the highest suicide rates in the entire world.

don't worry, i am feeling sucidal at any rate! haha.. just trying to prove a point that this town is dead on sundays. heh.

it took me a while to decide what to do today since 99% of the malls and stores were closed.. i had my books to read but really, an entire day in a 10x15 room would make anybody apply for a weekly visit at the mental institute. so i decided to walk to downtown. yes, the stroget region.

why did i do it?
1. i could get to know town better
2. i had to walk off those pineapples tarts binges
3. well, I HAD NOTHING ESLE TO DO

so i took out my map, played with the directions and walked and walked and walked to inner copenhagen. i took about 45 mins per trip and am proud to say, i would save myself 23kr. on future trips. well, i still wouldn't be able to afford frozen chicken fillets but what the heck.

funny place this is. WHY WHY WHY do shops close on sundays!? why are the people here so entitled to their rest days that they fail to see how it drives others to the point of semi-insanity.. ??? the only places open for business in europe's largest pedastrian shopping district were the macdonalds, burger kings and a handful of cafes.

i better get used to this.

thank god, school starts tomorrow. can't hardly wait.
