academically fashionable.
straits times urban did a feature on undergraduates fashion on the campus and neatly proclaimed that smu students did dress better- marginally.
haha. duh what do you expect? even i would not dream of going to school without some appropriate planning. sheesh.
though i am actually glad we do make an effort to look presentable. afterall we are a MANAGEMENT school and every one knows marketing is a primary source of influence in the business world... and the first item you should learn to market is YOURSELF...
and frankly, i do think it is downright rude to enter class in shorts and flip flops. but don't mind me. i am someone who wishes it would drop twenty degrees in singapore so that i can finally air my tweed coat.

my italiano professor for twc (technology, world and change)was featured too.. and apparently he won sexisist male award in smu in 2003. but believe me- looks do not matter if an italian casserole's got more personality than you.
i simply refuse to buy that whole smothering italian accent.. i am trying hard not to fall asleep in class and three hours in his class feels like a bad movie on rewind.
but to give me some credit- at least he appreciates "ermenegildo zegna".. hmm i wonder what it sounds like when he says it aloud...
