orientation started today and all the exchange students met up in the evening for a short briefing before heading down towards the 'grock' for a get-to-know-you ice-breaker session.
nothing out of the blue, no? well, except the 'grock' was a little outlet which serves all the alcohol you could afford and plays loud hip- hop thumping music that you could perhaps use for ice breakers.
yes, the school brought us to a club on the first night of orientation! clubbing, drunkards, dirty dancing -gasp- can you see this happening in singapore? haha.. yet another cultural difference..
i had fun, i think. didn't drink at all and wearing three layers in a club made things hot in a very unsexy manner.. but now my clothes reek of smoke and i am waiting for my hair to dry...
i hate the aftermath of clubbing.
