A couple of cakes from Cedele

Once upon a time, I used to eat cake for meals. Yeah, those days were ridiculous. KW and I would share up 6 slices of cake for my birthday and I remember we had up to 8 slices in a day back in Tokyo. Poor dude, thanks for hanging around.

Cedele was a regular haunt of mine and I tucked into their Carrot Cake on a regular basis, knowing that it was about as nutrient-packed as a kale dressing-less salad. Glad to see they plugged the whole organic-slash-trans-fat-and-artificial-ingredients-free rhetoric way before anyone else or any juice bar for that matter.

Chocolate Cookies & Cream Cheesecake

Caramel Sea Salt Tiramisu Cake - highly recommended

Though two pregnancies altered my tastebuds and I no longer hanker for cake as much, it is still hard to turn down a sweet treat. That's gluttony, not hormones, for you. It is also comforting to know I can always turn to Cedele for some yummy treats when you need to treat your heart and gluts.
