Tagged by Lady J! Here are my answers to her 11 questions:

If you are using an iPhone, what’s the one app you can’t live without.
Whatsapp. It's my go-to app when I need to rant.

Fave haunts in our little island?
The weekend is pretty much a home-run when it includes at least one of these places:
. PS Cafe Palais Renaissance
. Sushi Tei Paragon
. Imperial Treasure Kitchen or Super Peking Duck
. Serangoon Gardens Food Centre
. Bedrock Bar & Grill

Fave eats? [It can be anywhere in the world]
. Breadtalk's Rise & Shine - I love waking up to processed throw-ins and refined carbs wholesome bursts of energy.
. Dim sum at Imperial Treasure with the family anytime
. Demolishing five pastries from Sadaharu Aoki and Toshi Yorusuku at Tokyo Midtown was pretty darn memorable
. Incanto in San Francisco... I follow chef Chris Constatino's twitter... such a groupie
I feel like Kate Gosselin with her brood of eight. Ah, can't cut anyone out!

What is your favourite comfort food and why?
Grilled salmon head - it requires such focus and concentration that I forget any worries I might have for a good 20 minutes. Bonus: the omega-3 goodness kicks in almost immediately.

What do you miss most about your home country when you are away?
Oddly enough, not the food; cliche enough, my family and friends. I don't think I will miss Singapore much if I have my family and friends with me.

What’s the one place that you do not mind visiting over and over again.
Without a doubt, Japan.

Fave type of weather/ season?
Cloudy with a chance of curry puffs. 15-20 degress celsius, slightly cloudy, slightly breezy, wholly perfect.

Would Gangnam Style get you up on your feet?
Well, it will get me on the elliptical machine.

If you could be a cartoon character, who would it be and why?
Fifi Lapin - who wouldn't love her killer wardrobe? Plus I could eat carrot cake all day long.

When the going gets tough, what would be a quote/saying that you look to for strength?
It WILL be worth it.

Share some of the little things that would make you happy.
An unexpected "Good Morning" from a stranger; waiting less than five minutes for the bus; and a crackling smile from the bub.
