copenhagen is littered with these quaint confectionaries and you can spot them from a mile away from the 'bagel' fixture that hangs prominently along the streets.



though there are sleek classy bakeries such as illum's, these confectionaries retain the rustic vintagey feeling with window displays that showcase fineries of exhorbitant calories.



i sometimes wonder what it's like to work in a place where children or adults unfaiinngly stop in their tracks to gawk at the pastries- the earnest look of desire or gluttony unabashedly moulded into their faces.



i have grand plans that one fine day, i will spend an afternoon in one such confectionary and taste the finest of copenhagen of a plate. care to join me?
