my 'small' aunt is the sweetest- she always bakes us relatives chinese new year goodies, which 1. saves us the trouble of buying mass-produced treats and 2. are delectably yumyumyum and filled with homemade goodness. and since i am leaving tomorrow, she baked me 2 types of pineapple tarts and my absolute favourite butter cookies (thanks for reminding your mum, feng) so that i could enjoy my share of festive goodies. seriously, i couldn't be more thankful. bliss.mum put her culinary expertise to good use and whipped up a thai dinner tonight!
and now yang and i are doing crazy packing and i don't even dare check how heavy my luggage really is.. and to be honest, we don't even own a decent workable weighing scale here at home. i am trying to cut down of the volumes of toiletries that i am bringing over.. bringing travel size ones instead of the usual volume.. oh 23kg! is that possible?
