Dean & Deluca, Tokyo

I never found a reason to patronise Dean & Deluca in Singapore but maybe if they looked anything like Dean & Deluca in Tokyo, I would be re-tracing my steps on a weekly basis.

This caramel apple slice was dessert masquerading as breakfast. Sliced apples folded within eggy doughy carbs topped off with a crème-bruleed crust… Lets just cut the chase, dump a scoop of vanilla ice cream on it and get to second base already.

The pecan brioche bun was consumed during a mid-afternoon pitstop. Caramelized nutty crust atop, it was a little bready; but once you dip into the coffee, you can almost hear Peabo Bryson in the background belting out, "A whole new world..."
