After our experience in Fukuoka, I know fruit farms would be a hit with the boys. I did some research and was quite disappointed that while there were many farmers markets in California Bay Area, there weren't that many farms that were open to the public and most required 2-hr drive. Good thing, we found Swanton Berry Farm and the boys went on a treasure hunt picking out the reddest of strawberries. The farm also sells jams and baked goodies made from berries harvested on their farm; we picked up a scrumptious olallieberry cheesecake and mixed berry pie to share with the rest of the family./
