When it came to my palate, the one big difference between this trip and the previous visit was my indifference towards pastries. Remember that epic day when we had seven cakes? Two slies
from HARBS,
two from Sadaharu Aoki and another three from Toshi Yorozuka. We were indeed young, foolish and high from all that sugar.
These days though, living dangerously on the edge means skipping down to the patisserie at the hotel lobby without putting on any leggings. I guess when a craving hits, it hits hard. Dutifully, we milked the opportunity with a delectable chocolate mousse cheesecake from Chocolat.
