i had lunch with muhd and sq in..sushi tei crystal jade marche! haha.. how odd right? i mean, that place for lunch? the place where we only went during jc orientation to bond.. the food was great..can you smell rosti, fish and chips, crepe, fried calamari and dessert- think brownie, bread and butter pudding and oreo cheescake.. i sound it sounds alot but when you share it with two other people, it's not that much la..

i love it it when i have lovely friends who galiantly rise to my defense even without being asked to.
last few days have been pretty hectic with reports due and make-up lessons to attend but i must say i have felt this light-hearted in weeks. maybe it is due to the fact that i have been going out more, catching up with friends, celebrating birthdays etc. it almost makes work seem bearable.

on the verge.
it felt good to hear wai's voice. when edward handed the phone over, i was no doubt overwhelmed by the nostalgic familarity of her voice. and i do not know what came over me, but when i was about to put down the phone, i actually told her that i loved her. well, i have never uttered those three words before and it felt somewhat liberating. ya la, i am only but a sentimental fool and i miss my fwens toooo much.
today will mark the arrival of bgs final presentation.
still alive but barely breathing.

i realise that i will probably be the first one to move out for any reason because just two weeks ago, the happy family was talking about home detailing to accomodate another family i.e. grandkids i.e. their kids. ick.

how about having 3 suppers in one night? -coupe cheesecake at bakerzin faullerton, soursop magaritas at cafe iguanas (no nuts/chips damit!) and teo seng teochew porriage at hougang.
i am also reserving two special places in my emo-warm embrace for darrelle and joey.. yea, we should do this again.. just give me two years to detox~

d-day.
darrelle’s birthday party last night was such a blast…she booked a uber-cosy suite up at meritius mandarin and kept the flow of chicken wings, satay and get this, deliverance mini- madeline’s, assorted croissants and sandwiched flowing to the rhythm of baileys and some coffee-liquor..
i’m too darn lazy to elaborate further but let’s just say mr-and-mrs-next-door-neighbour weren't too happy about us playing taboo.. all e-l-a-n-'s fault.. haha, left at 1-frigging-am and am here at 7.45m for an accounting lesson.. sweet.

diets and dads.
this is so retarded. i was munching on an apple at the dinner table and my dad somewhat interogates me & asks why i am not having dinner. yup, guess he does not know that 1. i NEED my fuji apple before dinner dinner even though i eat one every night and 2. since i have a sweet tooth (and i choose to pioritise)- i would rather have fruit cake, almond tart and a bit of cheesecake over spinach stir-fried in brown sauce, chicken flavoured in brown sauce and fish cooked in, yup you guessed it, brown sauce.
he then goes on to tell me that i cannot replace vegtables and its vitamins with fruits, which pretty much left me dumbfounded as just a couple of weeks ago, he berated me for allowing my constipation to happen due to a lack of fruits and vegetables. and please, it was S-P-I-N-A-C-H tonight, any resonable parent would realise how much this makes their kid's toenails curl.
here's the best part- i could not have more cheesecake as my mum thinks that jimmy wanted it. yup, "zilch, zip no buts!" i have to lose the cheesecake. *about to flip over the Encyclopedia of Liberty Le Freedoom Un Cheesecake to check on my rights.

mummy knows best.
ok, this is simply blog-worthy. right now i am at my mum's office (international plaza tanjong no-shopping-district pagar) i hated my emsemble for school (black cardigan. blue camisole and a tweed mini skirt, with red shoes on *eww) so in a bid to resolve my woes, i decided to get a a white blouse to match the skirt.
yet this was no easy-peasy task- why? 1. i wanted my blouse to be tucked into the skirt and somehow manufacturers and their sweatshops only seem to manufacture short-waisted blouses..2. they were forty to fifty bucks apiece and i was not about to spend this much on something i did not even want. after walking into a few 'office-girl-type' boutiques i was only the verge of giving up and ALMOST stuck to my awful mismatched outfit when i decided to try my luck at a maternity store that just opened right in front of me. no use denying fate, i thought and i popped in to try my luck.
LO AND BEHOLD, i found a simply white blouse with a pretty ribbon attched at the back to reduce frump-factor.. BEST OF ALL! it is long enough to -gasp!- be tucked into my skirt and guess what (adudience goes: "what?!?") it costs only $23.70 with an additional 5% off.. i gleefully handed over my nets and donned my new tuckable shirt on..
haha, so right now i have a maternity blouse on..
and i'm soooo h-a-p-p-y..

look at what darrelle mrs jon-johnson gave me? ARGHH.. i almost fell off my seat at haven.. now my cookie pencil has a friend~ who is much fairer than him. yes there are both male pencils. do not ask me why. i'm mad right now.

bear with ittt.. just a couple more days... with one presentation down today, a managerial accounting test tomorrowc and a business&government mid-term exam on sat. i will be all ready for the weekend..
to complete my bizlaw report, read the chapters on 'damage & equitable remedies', write my letters, finish my analytics skills homework, revise budgeting and variance analysis, research on ethics within adoption, formulate my hike on school fees argument...
am i loooking foward to the weekend? absolutely~
